Section C1
Section C1 of Alpha Phi Omega is located in Region C, and covers the states of Colorado and Wyoming. There are currently five active chapters and one Interest Group in the section.
Chapters in Section C1 have been enriching their communities since 1941. Some annual traditions include:
- Merit Badge University at CU Boulder - held annually in the fall, CU Boulder is the proud host of over 400 boy scouts, with brothers from across Colorado teaching a series of badges over the course of a day.
- Klondike - another tradition hosted by CU Boulder, but with strong participation from the rest of Section 30! For over a decade, Section 30 has hosted hundreds of boy scouts as they learn to navigate snow, dense forest, and demonstrate their camp skills and first aid know-how. Held annually in February.
- JOY Carnival - the Jamboree for Outstanding Youngsters is held annually in the spring, hosted by Mu Pi chapter. Children in the Jefferson County Community are invited to celebrate a day of face painting, crafts, bouncy castles, firefighters, and more!
- Girl Scout University - hosted by Alpha Eta Iota chapter at DU, GSU is the section's newest tradition supporting APO's new official partnership with Girl Scouts of America. DU is the proud host of several dozen girl scouts as APO brothers facilitate several badge activities.
