CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Beta Psi chapter of Alpha Phi Omega at Southeast Missouri State University will be hosting the 2012 Section 49 Conference April 13-14. The chapter says over 150 brothers from the Greater St. Louis region stretching from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. to SIU Edwardsville will be participating in a variety of networking and leadership development workshops and activities. They say the conference will also be providing service through the Pulsera Project, which encourages youth in Nicaragua to make bracelets, or pulseras. The pulseras will then travel from school to school where students sell them. According to Alpha Phi Omega, 100 percent of the proceeds go to serving Nicaraguan orphans. For more information on the Pulseras, you can click here to visit them online. Copyright 2012 KFVS. All rights reserved.
