Volunteer are needed in 3 locations throughout the blood drive: Sign In Table- Volunteers will sign in donors as they arrive to the blood drive and also help with recruiting donors at the Perkins Center if needed throughout the day. Donor Safety Escort- Volunteers will escort donors after they donate form the donor chair to the canteen table where the donor will enjoy a drink and snack. Canteen Volunteer- Volunteers will assist donors after they donate at the canteen table where donors are offered a drink and snack. Volunteers will also interact with donors by thanking them for their donation. Also, if a donor needs assistance after donating volunteers will contact a staff member from the Blood Bank of Delmarva.
