Scouts learn of complex forest ecosystems, discover resources forests provide to humans and the role people have in sustaining forest health. Forestry is one of the elective merit badges for the William T. Hornaday awards for Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts. You will be assisting a counselor with a group of about 15 Scouts.
