White Clay Creek Fest |
| Date: May 7, 2011 at 1:00pm to 4:00pm | |
(rain date May 8th) at White Clay Creek State Park. This is a festival to celebrate the precious natural resource the White Clay. The Rivers Rockabilly Trio will be playing and we will have a Live Birds of Prey Demonstration. The Juggling Hoffman’s will be performing and there will be lots of displays, kids activities, food and more. The White Clay Creek Fest spotlights the story of the creek and surrounding valley - its resources and history - and how it became a Bi-state Preserve and Park and eventually a National Wild and Scenic River. The White Clay and its tributaries were designated “Wild and Scenic” by federal legislation in 2000.
