The non-profit, Water Is Life Kenya, is having a fundraiser in Newark to raise awareness and funds for water projects in Kenya. It will mainly consist of a water relay race competition and a non-competitive water walk, where people will carry a jug of water around the reservoir. The idea is to give people an idea of what others around the world have to do to get water. You will be setting up tents, helping people register/sign up, helping with parking, helping with race logistics (getting people in the right place, showing them where to go), and getting water jugs filled and up to the starting line.
