Come help out the forest restoration team! Volunteers will be completing easy hand-pulling of small plants, removal of large shrubs and trees, cutting and piling plant debris, and more. This volunteer group will build on the work at the JME section of the park and make the volunteer opportunity more accessible to students. Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes and are recommended to wear long pants/sleeves. Please bring work gloves if you have them as well as a personal water bottle, all other tools will be provided. We meet at the first gravel parking area along Creek Road. It is located along the first straightway, just past a locked gate on the right at the path to the second dam.
