Libraries Workshop: Defining the Challenges of Decarbonization at Temple

Date: Apr 18, 2024 at 10:00am to 4:00pm
What will power Temple’s campus in the future? How is climate change and the need to decarbonize empowering current students? Learn decarbonization basics, what other universities inside and outside the region are doing, and what’s happening here at Temple. Dr. Cory Budischak, Associate Professor of Instruction in Electrical Engineering, presents, along with student leaders in Temple Climate Action and Temple Green Council; James Templeton, Assistant Vice President and University Architect; Rebecca Collins, Director, Office of Sustainability; Caroline Burkholder, Senior Sustainability Manager, and climate leaders from other institutions. This is one of three spring events that comprise "A Time to Act: Responses to the Climate Crisis within & Beyond the University," which is organized by Temple Libraries, Office of Sustainability, Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Tyler Climate Action Network, and the Center for Sustainable Communities.
