Description: When you arrive at the Booker T. Washington YMCA you will sign in at the front desk, you will be introduced to the BTW team and provided with a quick tour of the building and given information about current programs. You will then go to the Homework room where you will assist with tutoring students with any homework they may have. Should their work be complete for the day, you are more than welcome to assist in the other rooms which include art, gym, rec, and any other programs we may currently have during your visit. At the end of your service for the day you will sign back out. Reminder: You cannot volunteer on the day you signed up unless you've already completed the background check and the online course about working with children.
