Come volunteer for Matthew 25! You will perform a variety of activities in their Processing Center, mostly of a non-stressful physical nature. You would be helping to evaluate, sort, and process various supplies, participating in activities such as: · Evaluating, categorizing and processing new or gently used clothing · Sorting, matching and sizing shoes · Assembling personal care, education and first aid kits · Sorting plastics for recycling · Distressing or removing labels from clothing · Removing products from retail packaging · Sorting and reblending paint · Separating and blending liquid soaps · Sorting and processing sanitary supplies You should wear comfortable, close-toed shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and would not be devastated if they got a small tear or spot. IMPORTANT: On the day of your visit, you will be asked several COVID-19-related questions. Please review the entire policy online Volunteer Safety Policy attached below, and contact them ahead of your visit to reschedule if any of the circumstances outlined in the policy apply to you or anyone in your household. Please check out their What to Expect page so you can be familiar with the volunteering process before you arrive. https://m25m.org/whattoexpect/ Meet In Office (MIO @ Hanna House): 9:45 AM Leave Hanna House: 9:55 AM Sign in sheet: https://forms.gle/2YsEGrVnMaNCWBgS9
