Help run the Oxford Community Arts Center's annual Gala! Wear comfortable shoes and ATTIRE FOR AN UPSCALE EVENT (so no sweats! please be respectful). To sign-up for this event (DONT SIGN UP HERE UNTIL YOU'VE COMPLETED THESE STEPS)! 1. Go to the website oxarts.org (Oxford Community Arts Center) 2. Under Support Us, click on Apply to Volunteer and Fill in an application. This will take you to the Better Impact Volunteer Application. 3. Once the application is completed, OCAC will be notified and will approve your application. 4. After completing the application, download the My Impact app. 5. After signing into the app, select Menu in the upper left corner. 6. Select Opportunities. 7. Scroll down to Special Events and select Annual Gala. 8. Select the 6pm - 8:30pm shift, the 8:00pm - 10:30pm shift, or both shifts! 9. You're registered to volunteer at the Gala! After you're registered, the arts center will email you with specifics. Possible things you'll be asked to do include being greeters for guests, assisting with the kitchen, bussing tables, assisting guests, replenishing food, monitoring silent auction items, assisting with checkout at the end of the event, and after event clean up. The Arts Center is a 2-minute drive from Hanna House (around 15 minute walking distance from the edge of campus) Meet at Hanna House: 5:45 pm for the 6:00 shift, 7:45 pm for the 8:00 shift!
