Come help clean up abandoned lots in Cincinnati! In conjunction with Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, we try to make Cincy look a little nicer one lot at a time. You'll be broken into teams of 5-15 and sent to a specific lot to pick of litter, remove abandoned tires, and possibly even mow overgrown grass (if you're up for it). Dress for the weather, including boots if you have them, a jacket, etc. Gloves, garbage bags, and any necessary equipment will be provided! We need LOT LEADERS, people who's basic responsibilities include documenting the rough amount of how much litter was left on the property, and taking before/after photos. If possible we would ask you to attend a meeting beforehand at the Keep Cincinnati Beautiful office, date & time TBA, but this is not required. If you are interested in being a lot leader, say so in the comment when you sign up! This is a big project, up to 6 different lots, so we need as many people to drive as possible (12-15 if the project fills up). A FULL HOUR will be awarded for driving.
