The camp is open to elementary school aged girls in Hamilton that aren’t already registered as Girl Scouts. This year’s camp theme is “It’s your planet, love it”, and the curriculum includes crafts, games, and discussion topics. MIO: 7:35 am Leave by: 7:45 am Return by: 1:00 pm You will be in charge of chaperoning a small group of girls with another staff member or volunteer. There is a training session available for 1 hour of service credit, otherwise training can be provided on site that day if you cannot make it. The training days will be set up after you volunteer to work with your schedule! As part of working with the Girl Scouts you are required to sign up as a volunteer here is the link to a paper registration. http://www.gswo.org/content/dam/gswo/documents/Membership%20Form%20-%20Adult.pdf Under the participation section volunteers can select I am willing to volunteer and then “other” on the line next to it write “Series Facilitator, Troop 49918”. Volunteers can write 0 on the line that says “Total” under payment information. Please fill this out and return to me which I will gladly accept at chapter or just email me at scoutingapozd@gmail.com to figure out a day I can collect that from you. The Girl Scouts would prefer to know how many volunteers will be coming TWO WEEKS prior to the event. Because this project requires a big commitment on your end please sign up with the intent of going to the project and not cancelling! The Girl Scouts are counting on us so please drive and help out with this awesome event if you can!
