Thread Up Oxford is committed to reducing textile waste in our local community by creating opportunities to think, act, and use (or reuse) materials in a better way. They prevent nearly 2 tons of textiles from entering the landfill each month. Group volunteers typically assist with sorting, organizing, and preparing donated textiles for redistribution and recycling. This event is a bit off campus so I recommend driving/getting a ride.
