Join us (11:30 am - 4:30 pm)where we’ll be hosting an afternoon packed with sessions and activities designed specifically for students like you. Whether you're unsure of where to start or you're already working on building your creative career, there's something here for everyone! And don't worry—you're welcome to come and go throughout the day and join sessions around your class schedule. Here’s what you can expect: Welcome Lunch & Panel Discussion (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): Get ready to be inspired! Our panel of professionals from various creative industries will share insights on current trends and future directions in the creative sector. Uncover the trends shaping the now and how you can carve out your own distinctive voice in this ever-evolving artistic world. Concurrent Skill-Building Sessions (1:15 PM – 2:00 PM & 2:15 PM – 3:00 PM): Choose from one of three 45-minute workshops that will help you build and refine your creative career toolkit. Topics include: How to Structure and Present Your Portfolio How to Prepare for Interviews in the Creative Industries Transferable Skills from the Arts & How to Find Freelance Work & Network Effectively Meet Creative Professionals (3:00 PM – 4:30 PM): This is your chance to directly connect with professionals. This is an incredible opportunity to build your network, learn about potential volunteer opportunities, and hear about internships, co-ops, and other career paths. Small bites will be provided!
