You will need to register with Story County Conservation as well: https://www.storycountyiowa.gov/566/Volunteering Story County's "Go Green Committee" is hosting it's first Electronics Recycling Drive for the community on Saturday, Sept. 13. Accepted items include old, unusable or unwanted laptops, keyboards, phones, cords, routers, tvs (fee), and much more. We're looking for a couple volunteers to assist with accepting and unloading electronics from the public. Event is being held at Story County Fairgrounds in Nevada. Exclusively an outdoor event. Volunteers should bring a lawn chair, water bottle, lunch, and dress in layers/be prepared to be outside.
