Register with Story County Conservation here: https://www.storycountyiowa.gov/566/Volunteering Join us for the final TEAM (Trails Enhancement and Maintenance) Day at Christiansen Forest Preserve! Very generous volunteers from a local construction company recently spent time installing a new trail bridge at Christiansen Forest Preserve, connecting the trail where the previous bridge had existed several years ago. This work day will focus on establishing new trail connecting to the new bridge installed last fall. No prior trail work or special skills are required. All tools, including gloves, are provided. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes/boots, long pants, and long sleeves are encouraged. Poison ivy is very common in certain areas within the park. Bring a water bottle.
