Baby Animals at Strawbery Banke

Date: Apr 27, 2024 at 12:00am to May 5, 2024 at 11:59pm
This 10 day event gives our community the opportunity to learn about domestic livestock typical on coastal northern New England farms from the 17th century to the present day at this family-friendly and educational event. Those who volunteer can expect to spend time under the large heated tent filled with over 14 breeds of rare heritage animals. There are opportunities to help with taking care of the animals, assisting with the Children's educational programs, manning our seed giveaway, directing visitors, assisting with honey extractions, and making sure that this event is safe for our visitors and animals! !!Banquet is the 28th so only hours on that Sunday/before then will count towards this semester, all others will count towards next fall!! When you add your name, please write the date you are going the time you will be there. This event is off campus so make sure you have a ride or are willing to take Wildcat Transit to get there!
