Gather is looking for volunteers to hand out slips with suggested donations to patrons of Walmart in Rochester at both sets of doors. Volunteers will collect physical donations as people exit, box them into banana boxes, and load onto a van. Volunteers will also accept monetary donations (cash, check, gift cards). This event is rain or shine, and we recommend dressing in layers appropriate for fall weather. Gather Staff will come to the event at 1:30 to pick up the van and return it to The Opera House. This is an off campus event and will require transportation, and commitment a few days in advance! Drivers will also get 0.5 hours of service! ** You have 48 hours prior to this event to remove your name from the list. After that, you must contact Alexa Bobinski (860-305-6859) or Cait McAllister (603-369-2238) if you cannot make it, or if you cannot find a replacement. If you don't, you will be docked full hours.
