The purpose of Friends in Action and Echo Thrift shop is to connect people with disabilities and college students. This specific session is to work with a gentleman named Joe. You would be spending time with him and helping him to complete his tasks at the store. Joe LOVES sports and would require quite a bit of attention from his partners. We want to stress that this is a one-on-one type of position (although with 2 APO reps) and that the focus of it is to make connections with a person, not necessarily get a bunch of tasks completed.
