The purpose of Friends in Action and Echo Thrift shop is to connect people with disabilities and college students. This specific session is to work with a gentleman named Shawn who has Down Syndrome. You would be spending time with him and helping him to complete his tasks at the store. We want to stress that this is a one-on-one position and that the focus of it is to make connections with a person, not necessarily get a bunch of tasks completed.
