Doe Farm Trail Work Day

Date: Sep 28, 2019 at 8:30am to 1:00pm
If you leave the event early (we'd like people to stay the whole time if they go but we also understand 4 and a half hours is a lot) just make sure to let service chairs know please and thank you :))) About the Event: Join the Durham Conservation Commission, Land Stewardship Subcommittee, and community volunteers as we continue to enhance the trails, bridges, and other aspects of Durham's 87-acre Doe Farm, situated on the shores of the National Wild & Scenic Lamprey River. We will build a couple bike and pedestrian-friendly bridges, brush back trails, install sign posts, and pull a few invasive glossy buckthorns. What to bring: Participants should dress appropriately: long pants, long sleeves, and appropriate footwear and bring work gloves, insect repellent, and water bottle. We will provide all necessary tools, snacks, and water.
