“Books Alive” is a child literacy event that will have a costumed character here, this time it will be "Llama Llama", and we read books to the kids and families to promote literacy. They'll need volunteers to help Llama Llama to get down to his waiting audience and to act as an assistant in order to bring Llama Llama back up to have a break and to help with the families as they have their pictures taken with the character. It’s always a fun event. ** You have 48 hours prior to this event to remove your name from the list. You have 24 hours prior to this event to find a replacement for you. After that you must contact Julia Rietsch or Katie Holden if you cannot make it, or if you cannot find a replacement. If you don't, you will be docked full hours.
