PLEASE READ CAREFULLY IF YOU PLAN ON SIGNING UP FOR THIS EVENT: Excerpt from organization hosting event - "Gourmet Dinner is an event that the senior hospitality students put on every semester. It consists of a Friday dinner, Saturday dinner, and Sunday brunch service. Guests buy tickets online to attend, and it helps support the hospitality school as well as scholarships. Our theme this semester is Around the World in 180 Minutes, and each course will consist of a food from a different country. Currently we need the most people to fill shifts on Friday as we just had two students pull out due to a schedule conflict. We are looking for students to work a shift from 4-10 as food runners (basically bring food to the guests at their tables), or we are looking for volunteers to help us with a set up shift from 11-3 on Friday or Saturday. Pizza and snacks will be provided for students for dinner during the event Friday night if any choose to work as food runners. We have training sessions Monday April 1st and April 10th for anyone working the event, but if you are just looking to help with setup attending the training is not necessary. If you have any students interested in helping out please let us know by this Friday (3/29) at the latest so we can get them on the schedule and up to speed on the event!
