A little about the event: The Red Cross International Services team came in last year and taught the Red Cross Club members and some APO volunteers how to map out streets and locations on a digital portal that they have, called Missing Maps, from our own laptops. It’s super easy and you can really see the work you’re doing because you get to see the map being made as you contribute to it. This is a new initiative from the Red Cross to help disaster responders be able to access disaster areas faster and more efficiently, thus saving more lives! All volunteers need to bring is their laptop and we will have food for them! ** You have 48 hours prior to this event to remove your name from the list. You have 24 hours prior to this event to find a replacement for you. After that you must contact Julia Rietsch or Katie Holden if you cannot make it, or if you cannot find a replacement.
