Timberland has chosen Hero Pups, an organization which raises and trains rescue dogs to be service dogs for veterans and first responders affected by PTSD (and currently expanding to train for new services!), to be the beneficiary for their annual blowout "Friends & Family" sale. Part of the deal for the donations, however, is that Hero Pups provides volunteers to help with the influx of customers. Timberland asks that all volunteers abide by a dress code of no visible cleavage, buttcracks, or underwear, as well as no leggings without a long shirt. Tasks will include stacking shoe boxes, folding clothes, sorting and organizing product, and overall organization of the temporary sales area. There may also be puppies involved :) This is an awesome way to gain service hours, and you will be credited 3 hours for the 9-12 time and 4 hours for the 12-4 event. Whoever drives will also receive an extra hour!
