New Hampshire's first and only chapter for Improving Birth is having their first rally, and they need our help! Some of the tasks they need assistance with are moving furniture, setting up tables and chairs, directing traffic, checking in rally guests, handing out goodie bags, leading rally units, generally being available to help assist guest, possibly getting the word out the week before the event on social media. They are a non-profit with limited budget so unfortunately you will have to provide your own food. Volunteers will have the use of a full kitchen the day of the rally including a refrigerator, microwave and stove top. They also have a few food trucks coming to the rally and volunteers are more than welcome to purchase refreshments at their own expense. IMPORTANT: They would love to have at least one meeting beforehand on location so that they can introduce themselves and meet the volunteers. It would probably be the week before the event for 2 hours in the evening for a brief run-down. PLEASE: Once you sign up, email Lindsay Degnan at improvingbirthnh@gmail.com to let her know that you will be volunteering with Alpha Phi Omega. Look at their website for more information. https://improvingbirth.org/about-us/
