Exercise Your Right to Vote

Date: Feb 9, 2016 at 7:00am to 7:00pm
Vote in the NH primary! Here is some info from our Senior Vice Provost for Student Life and Dean of Students, John T. Kirkpatrick: A college student in New Hampshire may choose as his/her voting domicile either the domicile he/she held before entering college or the domicile he/she has established while attending college. You may register in person at the town or city clerk's office up to 10 days prior to an election, or on Election Day at the polling place. The Durham Town Clerk's office encourages students to register early in order to avoid long lines at the polls. You may also wish to visit the UNH Votes website at www.unh.edu/main/unh-votes AKA get your booty out there and vote! If you choose to register in Durham, the polls will be at Oyster River High School. You can also vote in your hometown or fill out an absentee ballot. You may receive one service hour for voting, but you must send a picture of yourself at the polls in order to receive credit! (Warning: do not take a picture in the literal booth, it is not so low key illegal. An onsite photograph will suffice). Please send all pictures to Rachel Sabol within 24 hours of voting and if you are submitting an absentee ballot ask Rachel for more information on how to get credit. Carpooling to polls is super duper encouraged, the more votes the better. Sorry for this short novel #freedom
