All information below is from Walker: I know many of you couldn't BEAR not getting a chance to play in my last tabletop RPG game, so here is another opportunity to do so for those of you who are looking to have a fun time before hell week. I realize that many people can find tabletop gaming a bit overBEARing, so I wanted to try and make this session a little more accessible to people who may think that tabletop role playing games have to be complicated, expensive, or difficult to get into. Today's game of choice is a one page micro-RPG made by Grant Howitt who is a game designer who has written a slew of free and easy to run one page RPGs. The game is called "Honey Heist" which has all the players, in true Ocean's 11 style, trying to pull a grand heist of their own. The catch? You are all playing as a bunch of freakin' Bears (hence the earlier puns)! You have to utilize both your natural instincts and your criminally sharp whit to get you through this endeavor. Over all, it is a nice and light-hearted game which should be accessible to anyone, and if you really enjoy it you can easily play it with your friends or family! I am aiming for this to be fairly short so hopefully it doesn't go over 2 hours. ****ALERT: OPPORTUNITY BELOW!**** Hey, you. Yeah, you. Have you ever run or wanted to run your very own tabletop RPG? Well, here is a chance to get your foot in the door! This game is pretty accessible for both new and old GMs alike, so if you want to take a stab at running a game let me know and we can set you up to run a game of your own at this event. If bears and heists aren't really your style feel free to bring another short and easy role playing game. As I previously stated Grant Howitt has a lot of these small free ones available online, one of my other favorites is called "The Witch is Dead". If interested in doing this, or in just talking about some of these games please feel free to contact me at: walker.vickery@centre.edu THIS WILL ALLOW US TO RUN THESE GAMES FOR MORE THAN 6-8 PEOPLE AT A TIME! So if you want to help make sure that we can keep doing events like this, or maybe run some of your own in the future, then please don't hesitate. ****OPPORTUNITY ENDS**** Below you will find a sheet containing the rules, as promised it is very BEAR bones and your game master should be able to lead you through it once you arrive. https://www.docdroid.net/KJzmn5k/honey-heist-by-grant-howitt.pdf Also, if you have six sided die, make sure to bring it with you!
