DBCHS is short-staffed on Saturdays, so they need volunteers to stay with the animals when there are visitors, walk the dogs, and fold some laundry. Meet behind Bingham at 12:50 for the first shift, and then at 2:20 if you are going to the second shift only. Either way, be sure there is someone that can take you back when you need to come back, too! If there are less than six people at a time, feel free to bring non-APO then as well! (comment it so we know) "Tasks (although Barb may have others coming to do the yard part.... sometimes she forgets to tell me who's on first!!!) Starting in the Adoption side, then the Puppy end, then the ACO side -- and then cat room and "old" office if time allows Vacuum/sweep out all drains & big room Mop floors Wash walls Wash pallets Clean pads and anything else in "meet & greet" room Clean bowls & buckets (refill water buckets if kennel is occupied) and, of course, Laundry!!!
