So what exactly are we all about? There are a few things that set Alpha Phi Omega apart from the rest:
We are a service fraternity. When most people think of fraternities, they think of social fraternities, in which the greatest emphasis is placed upon a sense of belonging to a group. But Alpha Phi Omega (APO) is built on three cardinal principles of leadership, friendship, and service. Alpha Phi Omega provides service to the community by donating time and effort to various causes.
We are open to anyone. Alpha Phi Omega is a national co-ed fraternity. We welcome all majors, backgrounds, and classifications of students. You can even be in another social fraternity or sorority. The only criterion is that you have an earnest desire to help out those in need and devote time to chapter activities.
We are Theta Sigma. The Oklahoma State University chapter of Alpha Phi Omega is known as Theta Sigma. In our chapter we believe in promoting community amongst our members by carrying out service projects together, hosting social events and participating in mentoring programs. Interested in joining our brotherhood of passionate students? We conduct recruitment for new members every Fall and Spring around the Stillwater campus.
