Tasks include but are not limited to: planting, mulching, weeding, and shoveling. This project will address the community priorities of maintaining greenspaces in the neighborhood and play a role in sustaining the quality of the programs offered to the community by Kilbourn Organic Greenhouse. Along the way, we’ll connect with each other and build trust, empathy, and understanding with our neighbors. *All tools, gloves, supplies and training are provided by Kilbourn Park Organic Greenhouse. This project is rain or shine and mostly indoor work, but volunteers may be outdoors at any time of year. Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers will be outside for the duration of this engagement thus they are encouraged to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug repellent and comfortable shoes.
