Community Outreach Intervention Project

Date: Apr 23, 2010 at 12:00pm to 4:00pm
What's up APO, I will be hosting a service project on Friday, April 23rd. My co-host for this project will be Kristy Tabing. For the Community Outreach Intervention Project, we will simply be assembling health promotion kits at the UIC School of Public Health. I think we can handle that, very easy stuff. The goal of the project is to raise awareness for the prevention of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, and hepatitis. Basically, there will be two shifts. They will be from 10 AM - 12 PM and then 12 PM - 2 PM. You can sign up for either shift or both. Don't sign up for the 2 PM - 4 PM shift, we aren't working during that shift. Please go to this site to sign up before you sign up on APOOnline because it will be the only way to guarantee your position on the project. http://uic.volunteermatch.org/campaign/campaign_detail.jsp?id=179377 It will be only a 10 minute walk from SCE, so it is very nearby campus in case you're lazy. I will provide more specific details soon, but do sign up because I promise you easy easy hours and very attractive hosts. Thank You APO. We will be meeting at JST around 9:30 and take the 12 there. Text or call me if you have any questions!!
