For those of you who were at the general meeing on Wednesday, April 7th, our namesake Mary Abeleda announced that the Gaia- Movement is holding an Earth Day clean up event. "Helping for Earth Day you will make the area more beautiful and healthier for people and wildlife. Litter on the streets and sidewalks does not just look bad. It gets into the lake, river, and storm drains polluting our drinking water. It also winds up in natural areas polluting the habitat of local wildlife."
