Jackson Chance Foundation needs your help at the 9th Annual Ping Pong Ball! On Friday, November 10th, JCF will host it’s annual fundraiser at SPIN Chicago in Chicago – it is more than the typical fundraiser, it’s downright FUN! Guests can compete in a Table Tennis Tournament, play games, or bid on unique auction packages, all while removing the financial burden of parking for families with critically ill babies in the NICU. Proceeds from Ping Pong Ball benefit JCF’s NICU Transportation Program which partners with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, Northwestern Prentice Women’s Hospital and Rush University Children’s Hospital to provide complimentary parking passes for families with critically ill babies in the NICU. The Ping Pong Ball Volunteers are a very important part of making this event successful! Below are a few key areas volunteers can manage: Registration/ Check Out: Check in Ping Pong Ball guests as they arrive, answer questions about the event and mobile bidding, and check out guests along with any auction items they might have won. Commitment: 5 hours, 4:30pm – 10:30pm Tournament: Assist tournament master to ensure tournament runs smoothly. Notify player of their schedule and tournament times and assist them in any aspects of play. Commitment: 5 hours, 4:30pm – 10:30pm Event Activities: Various event activities take place at the Ping Pong Ball in addition to the tournament.
