We will be heading to Share Our Spare, a local organization that ensures every Chicago area child, ages 0-5, has the essential items they need to support their health and development and equip them for a strong start. We ask all volunteers to consider bringing a gently used donation of children's clothing or books or a brand-new donation of bottles, diapers, wipes, or baby hygiene items (diaper rash creams, soaps, and lotions). Alternatively, volunteers can purchase items from Share Our Spare’s Amazon Registry and the items will go directly to them. Here is the link to their Amazon Registry: https://www.amazon.com/baby-reg/FUOQXNO0KM3W. This is not a requirement to volunteer. All volunteers MUST pre-register for the session using the link below. The registration link contains Share Our Spare's liability waiver that they must have on file for every volunteer. Registration closes Thursday, September 21st at 5pm. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/uic-give-volunteer-session-at-share-our-spare-tickets-715346860717 Please also sign up on Campus Groups: https://cglink.me/2gA/r2195388 There will be a shuttle available for all volunteers.
