London Towne Houses Cooperative is a non-profit based in Pullman, Chicago that has provided affordable and sustainable housing for families and individuals for over 50 years. While there are over 100 units in the co-op, many of the shared greenspaces are lacking tree cover and are very hot during the summer. Therefore, the addition of 10 native trees will create shade throughout the neighborhood and help foster more relaxing communal spaces. No experience is necessary! Volunteers will work alongside co-op residents to help us dig holes, plant trees, and mulch. Please wear long pants and close toed shoes Make sure to bring a full water bottle and sunscreen! We will take care of everything else Campus Groups: https://uic.campusgroups.com/apo/rsvp_boot?id=2202109 Sign-up on: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pullman-tree-planting-tickets-707857620197?aff=ebdsoporgprofile
