The park used to be a site of an asphalt roofing manufacturer. The park, after years of planning and cleaning up contamination, was opened in 2014. Now they are building a community farm and they need volunteers! :) Some things to keep in mind: "Must wear a mask and socially distance *Sanitize hands regularly *BYO reusable water bottle *Headcover: sun hats, caps, etc recommended" "Shaded area to rest, water, snacks, gloves, tools, hand sanitizer, and face masks will be provided"
