Join us for a conversation with Daniel Jean Louis! Upon returning back to Haiti after college Daniel noticed that humanitarian NGOs and development initiatives had failed to lift his country out of poverty, despite their best intentions and decades of experience. Drawing from past experience Daniel has developed a solution to the above problem: to empower the people to meet their own needs profitably and sustainably. During this event, we will elaborate more about the current climate in Haiti, how violence impacts the education system, and the overall concept of victim-blaming.
