Chicago Cares invites you to take part in helping protect Chicago from the spread of COVID-19. In partnership with the City of Chicago Mayor's Office and as part of the Protect Chicago initiative, Chicago Cares is hosting a multi-week digital outreach campaign. Through this project, volunteers will use text banking software to reach Chicagoans to help share crucial information to help keep individuals, families and our communities safe. Chicago is breaking records for COVID-19 and hospitals are filling up. If changes are not made by Chicago residents, businesses, and visitors to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the city is on track to lose more than 1,000 more Chicagoans by the end of this year and overwhelm our healthcare system.
