Among Chicago's oldest and largest unlimited stay animal welfare organization. The Anti-Cruelty Society provides education to people and helps over 50,000 animals each year. Services include adoption, charity vet clinic, low or no cost spray/neuter clinic, community outreach, dog training classes, cruelty investigations and rescue. Volunteers will be part of the Crafting Crew. First they will be given a brief overview and tour of the facility (maybe meet some pets up for adoption). Then volunteers must create as many enrichment projects or DIY toys for the animals in the shelter. WE MUST PROVIDE THE MATERIALS!
