"Living in Global Asia" Dialogue

Date: Apr 15, 2016 at 2:00pm to 4:02pm
Hey there Broskis! So I'm part of the Asian American Studies Student Advisory Board, and we're holding a Dialogue about living in a global Asia. Myself and other members of the board will be on a panel that will discuss each of our own varying experiences with what it means to live in a globalized Asia. This can range from what it means to be Asian and an adoptee, to being mixed race Asian, or even not Asian at all. After the panel collectively speaks a little about our experiences, the floor will be open up to you! We'd love to hear your thoughts and views on what global Asia means to you, and how you notice or even live it in your every day life, no matter how big or small an impact you may think it has. There will be light snacks (pretzels, chips, fruits, soda) served as well, so please join us in this Dialogue that will also begin to transition us from a separated Asian Studies and Asia American Studies to a combined Global Asian Studies. It's in SCE 611 on Friday, April 15th, from 2-4 PM. (I know this is right before formal, but come get informed about the world around you before getting sexied up for your Bros right after. Please come and support y'all!)
