This is an event cosponsored by the Undergraduate Student Government and the Let's Kick Butts student organization on campus. On Wednesday, March 16th, from 11-3, we will be hosting a campus cleanup in which we will be picking up cigarette butts that people have thrown on the ground. We will provide gloves and trash bags as well as doughnuts and drinks in the quad starting at 10:30 am with clean up beginning around 11 am. It is our goal to raise awareness about student wellness at UIC; we want this to be a wellness campus. By picking up cigarette butts, we hope we can make UIC a cleaner, healthier place. We are looking for individuals to be dedicated to the cause but we also want to have a good time during the event. Bring your I-Card! You need to swipe in and sign out to receive credit for recognition.
