Hey everyone :D KPiB @ UIC is hosting their 5th Annual "Are You Doctor Yet?" Singing Competition! This event is similar to American Idol - where local talent is showcased in a competition to see who the judges believe is the most outstanding, fresh talent in the Asian-American community! This event emphasizes the fact that Asian Americans can pursue ARTS and OTHER INTERESTS over the assumed pre-med track that many of us fall in. Discussion about the stereotype and model minority myth will follow these performances! This year's special headliner will be the one and only Jeff Bernat! Do you have what it takes to sing your heart out and leave your mark on the stage? Come join us to hear the next singing sensation! And the event is FREE!
