Do you wear socks? Do you know old people? If so, this project is perfect for you! That's because APO will be participating in a DIY no-slip sock donation project for a local hospital in our community! There will be three separate events for this project: one for donating the materials needed, one for physically crafting the no-slip socks, and one for donating the no-slip socks to the nursing home. 1. For every $5 you spend on either SOCKS or PUFFY FABRIC PAINT, you will get 1 service hour, with a maximum of 4 service hours. That means you can donate a total of $20 worth of goods to this service project. If you are donating socks, please get adult sizes and please, no half-socks! Long socks are preferred. The color of the socks does not matter. To get credit for donating, a receipt is necessary to calculate the appropriate number of service hours. 2. Once we get all our donations in, we will have a chance to create the no-slip socks. The hours given for this project will be TBA, depending on the number of donations and how long it takes to create the socks. This will be a chance for us brothers to get creative and have fun! 3. A group of APO brothers will go down to the hospital of choice and physically hand over our donations. Hours will be given for transportation and loading. This is a fun and easy service project that is very rewarding by helping those in need in our community. So please try to help out the cause and participate in some way!
