Girls on the Run is a non-profit organization that focuses on inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun curriculum which integrates running. Their big event is an end of the season Fall 5k. This is a celebration for +2,000 girls who’ve been working hard all season by training and learning. This year’s race will be on Saturday, November 21st at Montrose Harbor in Chicago! We will help with GOTR activities including: tiara decorating, face painting, and happy hair. The registration will also ask you for your group’s name, and then you’ll be able to choose “Alpha Phi Omega Sigma Sigma-UIC.” Approximate time of arrival is 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Time commitment is 4 to 5 hours.
