Ascension Performing Arts Fall Benefit

Date: Oct 10, 2015 at 4:00pm to 10:00pm
Good evening, bros! To start off, this fall benefit is hosted by Ascension Performing Arts. This non-profit group is a group that is focused on inspiring others to create with intention. They focus on community outreach, spiritual development and they're a professional performing arts company. The fall benefit is geared towards raising money for this nonprofit to help them to continue doing great things such as hosting free workshops for dancers in the Chicagoland area, community outreach and so much more. It consists of an art gallery for the first hour and then a live showcase for the rest of the time. The jobs that they'll be having us do will be ticket handling, food catering for the guests that come to support the show, escorting guests and giving them a tour and helping with set up and clean up. Even though these sound pretty standard, the show itself is incredible. You can even ask Tessa Turner who was a performer for the fall benefit last year! The live show with musical performances, dances and spoken word is just awesome in itself. If you're interested in doing this, you will also need to fill out this google doc just so that they know you'll be under APO. At the end of the form where it says "how did you hear about APA", put UIC APO. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1BmcnQOMPFMnPrCCu3h7c1YqLKo55WoW91g8kOlEAnVU/viewform?c=0&w=1 Last day to sign up is Sept 23rd (This upcoming wednesday) so hop on it! Thanks and let me know if you have anymore questions! :)
