Do you find a littery neighborhood as scary as a horror movie!?!?! Do you like getting in costume and meeting cool new people who also care about the planet?! Well then Cleanup Club has the perfect event for you! We'll be in Rogers Park for this one, with more planned for the future! Thanks to Independent Recycling Services for sponsoring our October Clean-Off Competition against Philly, which includes this event!! Since our inception in 2020, we are proud to tell you that our Cleanup Club volunteers have completed more than 105 cleanups and removed more than 43,000 lbs of trash from our community! Date: Sunday, October 26th Time: Cleanup is from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM Cleanup Location: We will be meeting in front of the Willye B White Park Fieldhouse, located at 1610 W Howard St. Look out for our green Cleanup Club sign! Supplies & What To Bring: We will provide grabbers, recycled plastic trash bags, and gloves. We provide recycling buckets, and you are welcome to bring your own if you like. We also encourage bringing your own water and heavy duty pet food / pet litter / soil bags for reuse if you have them handy! How to Get There: As we are an environmental organization, we strongly encourage taking public transit, walking, or biking to the event if you are not bringing large supplies.
