The Pilsen Food Pantry can only succeed with the support of its wonderful volunteers! Since operations run mainly from donations, volunteer time exceeding 300 hours a week is needed to keep things running smoothly. COVID-19 vaccinated volunteers of all ages are welcome to volunteer. Pantry shopping hours 10-1:30 pm Mon, Tues, Weds + Fri [8:30 am-11:15 am &11:15 am-2:00 pm shifts] 2-5 pm Thurs [11:45 am-2:30 pm, 2:30-5:15 pm shifts] Please note that this location has multiple shifts throughout the week. It is really hard to keep track of shifts as they fill up so I will be adding this as an event for all days of the week when they have shifts available but that doesn't guarantee that there is a spot open every single day. When you register make sure to add in the comments which shift you signed up for, service hours will vary based on which shift you volunteer. You will be responsible for adding these hours on campus groups yourself and adding me or Bella as a reference, so make sure you keep track of them.
