In partnership with Chicago Cares and Palenque LSNA, volunteers will help people who are ready to apply for citizenship fill out their paperwork. By engaging in service, volunteers will connect with new people, build trust, empathy and understanding with our neighbors. Volunteers will help complete citizenship paperwork with applicants and help with workshop logistics. There will be a 30-minute training beforehand to show volunteers how to properly complete paperwork . Volunteers are strongly encouraged to pay close attention to street signs for permit/ tow zone/ loading parking. Spanish-speaking volunteers are encouraged to sign-up but not required. https://www.chicagocares.org/s/volunteer-job/a0sPZ0000009wRNYAY/project-citizenship-workshop-with-palenque-lsna?s=a0uPZ000009K9mjYAC
